February’s Featured Employee: Akou CAUSSINUS, Production Worker

👉 We’d like to highlight Akou CAUSSINUS, a production technician at JENOPTEC NT for the past year.

The production worker is responsible for performing all or part of the production operations within a workshop or on an assembly line. She assembles, prepares, inspects, or processes partsin accordance with specific procedures, while adhering to quality, safety, and deadline standards.

What is your professional background?

I started my career as a sales employee in a store from 2005 to 2010. After that, I opened and ran my own grocery store/bar from 2010 to 2021. In 2023, I joined ANRH as a production operator, a position I held until January 2025.

What are your responsibilities?  

I have been working at JENOPTEC NT as a manufacturing technician for almost a year now. I handle the assembly of fibers and connectors, polish the ends, and perform interferometric checks to ensure the connector guarantees optimal signal transmission with minimal loss. I also record technical data, particularly optical performance measurements, to ensure low signal attenuation.

I’m also in charge of labeling, ensuring the traceability and compliance of the cables. All these steps require rigor and precision to ensure reliable, high-performance products.

What do you appreciate most about your job? 

I particularly appreciate the hands-on, precise, and varied nature of my work. Every day is different, which makes my tasks motivating and rewarding.

How would you describe yourself?  

I’m attentive, calm, and resourceful.

What drives you in life?

Outside of work, I enjoy listening to music, going for walks, and cooking. These moments allow me to relax and recharge.
