👉 We’d like to highlight Antony FLORES, a production technician at JENOPTEC NT for the past five years.

A production worker is responsible for performing all or part of the production operations within a workshop or on an assembly line. They assemble, prepare, inspect, or process parts according to specific procedures, while adhering to quality, safety, and deadline standards.

What is your professional background?

I hold a science-focused high school diploma (Bac S), after which I pursued a DUT in Chemical and Process Engineering. I completed an internship at a cellular biology laboratory, and then, eager to explore a new field, I joined JENOPTEC NT in 2021.

What are your responsibilities?

For nearly five years, I have been part of the JENOPTEC NT team, where I work as a manufacturing technician specializing in the defense sector. My primary role involves participating in the production and assembly of high-precision components, while ensuring that every step meets the strict quality and safety standards specific to this industry.

I also have additional responsibilities, such as managing the broadcast division and serving as the connectivity specialist.

What do you like most about your job?

I particularly enjoy working in the field of fiber optics, which requires rigor, attention to detail, and precision. The variety of my assignments is also a source of motivation in my day-to-day work.

How would you describe yourself?

I am thorough, patient, and caring

What drives you in life?

I like to spend my free time traveling around France and attending Olympique Lyonnais games, cheering along with the fans and soaking up the unique atmosphere of the stadiums. I also enjoy unwinding by watching live streams on Twitch—it’s a fun way to unwind after a busy day.

If you were a dish, you'd be...

If I were a kebab: the very definition of “simple and effective”

Is there a quote that inspires you?

I’m not afraid of dying; I’m afraid of not having lived enough.” A quote from the film "Mr. Nobody" that reminds us of the importance of making the most of every moment and seeking out rich and varied experiences rather than simply letting time slip away.
