👉 We’d like to highlight Moussa Guissé, a production worker at JENOPTEC NT since 2022.

The production worker is responsible for performing all or part of the production operations within a workshop or on an assembly line. He or she assembles, prepares, inspects, or processes parts
in accordance with specific procedures, while adhering to quality, safety, and deadline standards.

What is your professional background?

After completing a two-year DUT in Electrical Engineering and Industrial Computing, I joined JENOPTEC NT in April 2022. This program gave me the technical foundation I needed to thrive in the world of industrial manufacturing.

What are your responsibilities?

Since joining the company in 2022, I have been working primarily in production, where I help manufacture optical modules from optical components. My role involves assembling an optical circuit consisting mainly of couplers and isolators, which is then integrated into the final module. I also handle the installation of connectors at the system’s output, as well as insertion loss tests (signal attenuation) and various checks to ensure the product’s compliance and proper functioning. Finally, I prepare a detailed specification to be provided to the customer. I am committed every day to delivering meticulous, high-precision work.

What do you like most about your job?

I especially enjoy starting with a completely raw material and watching it evolve into its final form. It’s very satisfying to see the progress step by step, and it makes me proud of the work I do.

How would you describe yourself?

I'm friendly, curious, and calm

What drives you in life?

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time reading and spending time with my loved ones.

If you were a dish, you'd be...

Chicken Khao Phat Kai: a simple, flavorful, and hearty dish.

Is there a movie that inspires you?

Christopher Nolan’s "Memento", a film about memory, made a particularly strong impression on me. With its exploration of memory, the film prompts us to reflect on how our memories shape our perception of the world.
